Joseph Gordon Novak
Mr. Joseph Gordon Novak, 89, of Randolph, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover after a long illness.
Mr. Novak was born in Jersey City. He was a Randolph Resident since 1955, previously of Bloomfield.
He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II as an Aviation Chief Machinists Mate from 1941-1947.
He was employed as a laboratory technician at Honeywell in Morristown,  and retired in 1987 after 30 years.
He was a member of the Randolph Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and artist. He loved carpentry, and liked making architecural models.  
He is survived by Evelyn Novak, his wife of 50 years; two daughters, Kathryn Meehan and her fiance John Varrone of Hopatcong, and Susan Ransegnola and husband Michael of Mine Hill.
 
Also survived by four grandchildren: Shannon, Joseph, John and Josh; one great-grandson, Raffaele: and one sister, Genia Cliffton of Tuscon, AZ.
A memorial visitation will be on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 10-11 AM. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com), with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.
